Potted Trees
With 50 years experience in growing quality trees, at Perenia, we pride ourselves in supplying a large range in pots throughout the year.
Bareroot and Rootballed trees can only be supplied while the trees are dormant but potted trees can be planted year-round.
Our potted trees for the retail market are available in traditional 10 litre pot size or our new to the market 5 litre ‘Easy Fit’ size designed to be easier for customers to transport home.
We also supply selected fruit trees, including apple, pear, plum and cherry in 7.5 litre pots. All our retail trees are grown on the nursery in Cahir and delivered with bespoke labelling including the Bord Bia logo.
We also supply larger potted trees for landscape projects. The trees are selected from field grown crops during the winter and potted up into tree bags or air pots depending on the size. These are then grown on for 1-2 years before they are ready for delivery to sites around the country. Most of the trees we supply are between 8-10cm and 14-16cm size categories. The big advantage of having trees in pots is that you can plant them during the summer season allowing planting contracts to be fully completed.
At Perenia we can also grow potted trees on contract for future planting jobs. Where sites may need to be completed outside of the winter planting season, contact us as early as possible to discuss your requirements and we can contract grow everything you need ready for call off for just in time delivery.
